SUMMARY:Trauma Informed Care
DESCRIPTION:Trauma Informed Care for the Occupational Therapy Provider\nAn in-person training focused on providing occupational therapy practitioners with real-world principles and strategies for creating trauma-informed\, therapeutic sessions for children who have a history of developmental trauma. The session will include a review of the neuroscience of developmental trauma\, but will quickly move into application-level practice applying trauma informed care techniques. Case scenarios\, small group discussions\, and reflection will be used to support participant learning. \nTraining is free and open to all levels of trauma understanding. Four hours continuing education certificate will be provided at the end of the course.
